Dash Panel - IP Glovebox Assembly (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Remove the lower instrument panel. See Dash Panel - Instrument Panel Lower Assembly (Remove and Install).
  2. Remove the RH EPP clip.
  3. Release the locking tab, and then disconnect the glovebox USB connector.
  4. Remove the screws (x5) that attach the glovebox to the vehicle, release the harness clip, disconnect the electrical connector, and then remove the glovebox from the vehicle.
    2 Nm (1.5 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 socket

Install

  1. Position the glovebox into the vehicle, install the harness to the harness clip, connect the electrical connector, and then install the screws (x5) that attach the glovebox to the vehicle.
    2 Nm (1.5 lbs-ft)

    CAUTION
    Align the datums to prevent gear from damaging harness.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 socket
  2. Connect the glovebox USB connector, and then engage the locking tab.
  3. Install the RH EPP clip.
  4. Install the lower instrument panel. See Dash Panel - Instrument Panel Lower Assembly (Remove and Install).
