Rearview Mirror - Glare Shield (Remove and Install)

Remove

Remove the rearview mirror beauty cover. See Rearview Mirror - Beauty Cover (Remove and Install).
NoteIt is not necessary to remove the interior camera from the cover.
- Remove the GLONASS GPS antenna. See Antennas and Amplifiers - Milkweed GNSS Antenna Assembly (Remove and Install).

Release the securing tabs (x2) that
attach the rearview mirror glare shield to the windshield bracket, and then remove the
glare shield from the bracket.
Install

Position the glare shield onto the
windshield bracket, and secure the clips that attach the glare shield to the windshield
bracket.
- Install the GLONASS GPS antenna. See Antennas and Amplifiers - Milkweed GNSS Antenna Assembly (Remove and Install).
- Install the rearview mirror beauty cover. See Rearview Mirror - Beauty Cover (Remove and Install).
