Remove the valve stem cap.
-
Remove the valve stem core.
CAUTIONExercise caution as tire rapidly deflate.NoteWear appropriate PPE.
-
Rotate the wheel and tire so that
upper roller is ~100 mm in front of the valve stem.
WarningFailure to properly position valve stem can result in TPMS damage.
-
Break the tire beads.
NoteLubricate as required.
-
Remove the tire from the wheel.
NoteMake sure to position the TPMS sensor ahead of the tire machine arm.
Install
-
Thoroughly lubricate both tire beads,
and then position for installation.
NoteMake sure to position the TPMS sensor opposite the tire machine arm.NoteEnsure wheel cover design side of tire is facing outwards.
-
Install the tire to wheel.
CAUTIONUse caution to avoid damage to beads.NoteApply additional lubricant as required.
-
Inflate the tire to seat the
beads.
CAUTIONDo not exceed the pressure indicated on the tire sidewall.NoteWear PPE.NoteEnsure inside and outside beads are seated.

Input wheel dimensions into balancer
machine.
NoteIf machine does not require manual input, then skip this step.
-
Perform road force wheel
balance.
NoteFollow machine instructions.NoteSafety hood must be down to start balancing.NoteMake sure load roller engages.
-
Record road force wheel balance
results.
NoteIf road force is within limit, then skip to install wheel weights. If road force is outside limit, then proceed to force match.
-
Perform the tire and wheel force
match.
NoteMeasure run out then mark tire and rim for reference points. Use machine to determine points to match on tire and wheel.
-
Remove the tire and wheel assembly
from the balancer.
