Sensor - Pressure - Door - Front - LH (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Install).
  3. Disconnect MV power. See Mid-Voltage Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  4. Remove the LH front door beltline assembly. See Beltline Assembly - Door Panel - Front - LH (Remove and Install).
  5. Remove the LH front door trim. See Panel - Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Install)
  6. Release the connector lock and disconnect the LH front impact sensor electrical connector.
  7. Turn the sensor counter-clockwise to release the tabs, and then remove the sensor from the door assembly.

Install

  1. Install the LH front pressure sensor into the closeout panel.

    Note
    Twist the tabs clockwise to secure.
  2. Connect the LH front pressure sensor electrical connector, and then engage the connector lock.
  3. Install the LH front door trim. See Panel - Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Install)
  4. Install the LH front door beltline assembly. See Beltline Assembly - Door Panel - Front - LH (Remove and Install).
  5. Reconnect MV power. See Mid-Voltage Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  6. Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Install).
  7. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
