Undertray - Lower Tub Crossmember Assembly (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Place the vehicle into Service Mode via the UI. See Service Mode.
  3. Open the powergate.
  4. Open the tailgate.
  5. Open the tonneau cover.
  6. Remove the rear fascia assembly. See Rear Bumper Fascia - Rear Fascia (Remove and Install).
  7. Open the bed cargo tub lid.
  8. Remove the bolts (x4) that attach the bed cargo tub to the vehicle.
    8 Nm (5.9 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
  9. Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the lower tub crossmember to the vehicle, and then remove the crossmember from the vehicle.
    20 Nm (14.7 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 13 mm socket

Install

  1. Position the lower tub crossmember into the vehicle, and then install the bolts (x2) that attach the crossmember to the vehicle.
    20 Nm (14.7 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 13 mm socket
  2. Install the bolts (x4) that attach the bed cargo tub to the vehicle.
    8 Nm (5.9 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
  3. Install the rear fascia assembly. See Rear Bumper Fascia - Rear Fascia (Remove and Install).
  4. Close the tonneau cover.
  5. Close the tailgate.
