Rear Bumper Fascia - Rear Fascia (Remove and Install)

Remove
- Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
- Put the vehicle in Service Mode. See Service Mode.
- Disconnect MV power. See Disconnect MV Power.
- Remove the LH rear aft fender flare. See Front and Rear Garnish - Rear Fender Flare Aft - LH (Remove and Install).

Remove the clips (x5) that attach the
LH rear wheel liner to the rear fascia and diffuser.
- Remove the LH rear aft fender flare carrier. See Front and Rear Garnish - Carrier - Rear Fender Flare Aft - LH (Remove and Install).

Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the
rear center fascia to the body.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket
- Remove the RH rear fender flare. See Front and Rear Garnish - Rear Fender Flare - RH (Remove and Install).
- Remove the RH rear aft fender flare carrier. See Front and Rear Garnish - Carrier - Rear Fender Flare Aft - RH (Remove and Install).

Remove the clips (x5) that attach the
RH rear wheel liner to the rear fascia and diffuser.

Remove the bolts (x9) that attach the
rear diffuser to the body.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket

Release the locking tab, and then
disconnect the rear fascia harness electrical connector.
NoteThe harness is located behind the rear of the LH wheel liner.

With assistance, release the tabs
(x16) that attach the rear fascia to the body, and then remove the fascia from the
vehicle.
NoteRelease the RH and LH sides of rear fascia from the body.NotePlace the fascia onto protected surface.
Install

With assistance, position the rear
fascia to the vehicle, and then secure the clips (x16) that attach the fascia to the
vehicle.
NoteSides must be spread apart to clear the bumper structure.

Install the bolts (x2) that attach the
rear center fascia to the body.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket

Install the bolts (x9) that attach the rear diffuser to the body.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket

Connect the rear fascia harness
electrical connector, and then secure the connector lock.

Fasten the clips (x5) that attach the
LH rear wheel liner to rear fascia and diffuser.
- Install the LH rear aft fender flare carrier. See Front and Rear Garnish - Carrier - Rear Fender Flare Aft - LH (Remove and Install).
- Install the LH rear aft fender flare. See Front and Rear Garnish - Rear Fender Flare Aft - LH (Remove and Install).

Fasten the clips (x5) that attach the
RH rear wheel liner to the rear fascia and diffuser.
- Install the RH rear aft fender flare carrier. See Front and Rear Garnish - Carrier - Rear Fender Flare Aft - RH (Remove and Install).
- Install the RH rear fender flare. See Front and Rear Garnish - Rear Fender Flare - RH (Remove and Install).
- Reconnect MV power. See Disconnect MV Power.
- Exit Service Mode. See Service Mode.
- Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
