  3. Lower LH front window
  4. Drive vehicle onto 4-post lift and shift into park

  5. Remove RH front wheel cap

  6. Remove RH rear wheel cap

  9. Connect to vehicle using Toolbox 3

    OBD-II connection is integrated into drivers lower IP cover, Open Toolbox 3 website and establish connection to vehicle, https://toolbox.teslamotors.com, Select connection status icon at top right corner then select connect locally, Icon will turn green when connected, Successful connection will automatically unlock vehicle gateway and place UI in Service Mode Plus
  10. Set tire pressures to specification

    Via UI > Controls > Service > Tire Pressure, Refer to "Tire and Loading Information" label located LH B-pillar, Specification is 50 PSI
  11. Unlock vehicle gateway

    After vehicle has been put into "Service Mode", place keycard on center console to turn on drive rails, hold down the brake pedal, while keep pressing right hand signal button simultaneously for at least 10 seconds, "GTW UNLOCKING" should pop up on the UI right next to the VIN during these 10 seconds, once gateway is unlocked "GTW UNLOCKED 5400" will be displayed on the UI next to the VIN, the gateway will remain unlocked for 90 minutes, follow steps on Toolbox article #5582900 for any additional information

  13. Run routine to center steering wheel

    Steering wheel check routine: "PROC_X_SBW-START-HOLD" > Steering ECU: psfa, timer 10 secIf the timer is selected for a high amount this can be cancelled in tbx with "PROC_X_SBW-STOP-HOLD" > Steering ECU: psfa, Use the light bar behind steering for checking alignment with the top of the steering wheelIf steering wheel is aligned correctly move on to the next stepIf steering isn't aligned correctly re-calibrate the steering wheel by running "Set Handwheel Zero" routine on the UI, Service Mode Plus > Chassis > Alignment & Tires > Set Handwheel Zero
  14. Verify chassis measurement tool is set to 51mm

  15. Raise 4-post lift to comfortable working height

  16. Latch LH front seat belt

  18. Place vehicle in neutral

    Enter vehicle > Enable Jack Mode > Shift to neutral > Close driver's door latch, Ensure climate control and exterior lighting is turned off
  19. Push vehicle evenly onto turn plates

  20. Position wheel chocks onto both sides of LH rear wheel

  21. Install alignment heads onto all four wheels

    4x alignment heads, Position alignment heads centered to wheel, Adjust side arms as necessary to grip tires securely
  22. Perform rolling compensation

    Move vehicle using LH rear wheel, Use chocks to prevent vehicle from rolling away, Reinstall the chalks to secure vehicle after rolling compensation is done
  23. Apply brake pedal depressor
  24. Disable rear steer actuator

    Via UI > Service Mode Plus > Service > Chassis > Alignment & Tires > Center + Hold Rear, Via Toolbox 3 > Actions > "PROC_RSA_RAMP-TO-ZEROOR", This will center and disable rear rack

  28. Run front center and hold routine

    Via UI > Service Mode Plus > Service > Chassis > Alignment & Tires > Center+Hold Front, Front rack will move to center and hold until timeout value reached, Adjust timeout value as needed, Click run and close pop up window, Center+Front and Hold Handwheel boxes will display a spinning icon until timeout is reached

  30. Perform rear toe adjustment

    2x jam nuts per side, 27mm & 32mm, 70 Nm, Loosen outboard jam nut, then inboard, Adjust 22mm turn buckle as necessary, Tighten inboard, then outboard once adjustment is done
  31. Perform front toe adjustment

    1x rod, 15mm, 1x nut, 24mm, 90 Nm, Loosen the jam nuts and turn the inner turnbuckle CW or CCW in the direction indicated by the alignment equipment to achieve the in-spec “green” value, Tighten inboard then outboard once adjustment is done
