Vehicle Weight Information and Lifting Precautions
Important:
- Cybertruck is compatible with all variations of 2 post lifts within Tesla specifications.
- For modified Cybertruck vehicles, all service procedures that require lifting must be performed using a 10,000 lb (4,535 kg) 2 post lift. This includes procedures that require scissor lifts. Modified Cybertruck are considered trucks with additional components or equipment.
- When determining whether Cybertruck can be supported by a certain lift, make sure to take into account the weight of extra cargo, equipment, and/or accessories.
- Cybertruck vehicles without additional components installed may be lifted using 2 post lifts within Tesla specifications as usual. Using the long arm of the lifts at the minimum possible extension is recommended to achieve a more balanced position.
- If any modifications or additional load cannot be removed from the Cybertruck, caution must be taken before using a 2-post lift to avoid safety risks. See "2 Post Lift" section.
- If any instability, leaning, and/or cracks in the concrete occurs while lifting Cybertruck, fully lower the vehicle and stop using the lift until Tesla Engineering team evaluates the condition.
- If using a model of lift that is not listed in the table below, make sure to follow all of the manufacturer's product guidelines before attempting to lift the vehicle.
