Steering Column and Wheel - Steering Column Control Module (Remove and Replace)

Remove
- Remove the steering wheel control module. See Steering Column and Wheel - Steering Column Control Module (Remove and Install).
Install
- Install the steering wheel control module. See Steering Column and Wheel - Steering Column Control Module (Remove and Install).
- Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).
- In Toolbox, click the Actions tab, and then search for "Service-Redeploy"
- Click SERVICE CAN REDEPLOY, click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
- Re-establish vehicle connection to Toolbox 3.
- In Toolbox, click the Actions tab, and then search for "SCCM".
- Click PING-TP_SCCMSearch for routine in Toolbox, click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
- Click the Actions tab, and then search for "STEERING".
- Click TEST-SELF_VCLEFT_X_SWCSearch for routine in Toolbox, click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
- Click TEST-SELF_VCLEFT_X_STEERING-COLUMNSearch for routine in Toolbox, click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
- Click PROC-VCLEFT_X_STEERING-COLUMN-CALIBRATIONSearch for routine in Toolbox, click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
- Click TEST-RESET_VCLEFTSearch for routine in ToolboxLow Voltage / Power Distribution - Reset VCLEFTChassis / SCCM - Reset VCLeftMid Voltage / Power Distribution - Reset VCLEFT, click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
- Perform Handwheel calibration. See Set Handwheel Zero.
- Disconnect Toolbox and remove the laptop from the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).
- Exit Service Mode. See Service Mode.
- Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
