Remove

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  2. Remove the front aeroshield panel. See Aeroshield - Front (Remove and Install).
  3. Remove the bolt that attaches the ground strap to the FDU.
    10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)

    • 10 mm socket
  4. Remove the bolt that attaches the ground strap to the HV battery chinstrap, and then remove the ground strap from the vehicle.
    10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)

Install

  1. Position the ground strap to the HV battery chinstrap, and then install the bolt that attaches the ground strap to the HV battery chinstrap..
    10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)

  2. Position the ground strap to the FDU, and then install the bolt that attaches the ground strap to the FDU.
