1. Open all four doors
   Note

   Push pillar door triggers to release
2. Lower all four windows
3. Remove the tonneau slats. See Slat System - Tonneau (Remove and Install).
4. Raise and move LH front seat forward
5. Move RH front seat forward
6. Open powered front trunk
   Note

   Via exterior switch or UI

   

   

7. Power off vehicle from center display
   Note

   Verify EPBs are engaged, Select charge port icon to ensure drive state is disengaged then power down vehicle via Controls > Safety > Power Off

   

8. Remove rear underhood apron
   Note

   9x clips

   

   

9. Disconnect first responder loop and MV battery connector
   Note

   2x connectors, Release locking tab then disconnect FRL connector, Slide eCPA to left then lift lever to release MV battery connector, Early production trucks may have black FRL connector, Release eCPA by pushing down to unlock and slide red locking tab, Wait 2 minutes for electrical circuits to discharge before disconnecting modules

   

   

   

10. Remove front header trim
    Note

    19x clips, 1x magnet, 1x connector, 1x harness clip

    

    

    

11. Remove LH mid A-pillar trim
    Note

    1x clip, 3x tabs, Release tabs then slightly bend live hinge and release clip

    

    

    

12. Remove LH IP quarter panel
    Note

    3x large clips, 3x small clips, 2x datums, 3x doghouses, Release small inner clips then locate doghouses, Break doghouse walls to release from panel, Remove panel then remove doghouses and clips, Protect IP as needed, If IP is damaged then proceed to replacement, Panel is single use, Discard after removal

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

13. Remove LH upper A-pillar panel
    Note

    8x clips, 1x tether clip, 1x harness clip, 1x connector, 1x bolt, 10mm, 6 Nm, Pull inwards to release, Depress tabs on either side of tether clip to release, Apply tape onto top pad to prevent damage

    

    

    

    

    

    

14. Remove rear header trim
    Note

    12x clips, 3x datums

    

    

15. Remove LH lower C-pillar trim
    Note

    3x clips, 7x tabs, 4x datums, Starting at door sill pull upward then forward to release, Leave trim attached to seat belt

    

    

    

16. Remove LH cantrail trim panel
    Note

    5x clips, 1x connector, 1x tab, 3x bolts, T30, 6 Nm, Release clips then allow cantrail to hang from tethers for access to fasteners

    

    

    

    

17. Remove LH cantrail trim panel
    Note

    5x clips, 1x connector, 3x bolts, T30, 6 Nm, Release clips then allow cantrail to hang from tethers for access to fasteners

    

    

    

    

    

18. Remove LH 2nd row shoulder cover
    Note

    7x clips, 1x datum

    

    

    

19. Remove 2nd row seatback LH outboard bolster
    Note

    2x tabs, 1x datum, 3x clips, Release tab near the bottom of LH outboard bolster, Partially release LH 2nd row shoulder cover and remove bolster from vehicle

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

20. Remove LH C-pillar upper trim
    Note

    5x clips, 3x tabs

    

    

    

21. Remove interior fasteners securing lower tonneau assembly
    Note

    2x bolts, 13mm, 20 Nm

    

    

22. Remove fastener covers from bed floor assembly
    Note

    14x covers

    

    

    

    

    

23. Remove bed floor assembly
    Note

    12x short bolts, 15mm, 56 Nm, 2x long bolts, 15mm, 46Nm, Lift front edge with trim tool then remove panel, Recommend assistance

    

    

    

    

24. Remove LH bed closeout panel
    Note

    6x clips, 1x tab, Release LH tailgate cable by disengaging lock spring from bolt and sliding cable eyelet off to allow removal of bed closeout panel from vehicle

    

    

    

    

25. Remove LH lower bed side wall
    Note

    1x bolt, 15mm, 46 Nm, 2x bolts, T45, 36 Nm, 4x bolts, 10mm, 11 Nm, 2x nuts, 10mm, 7 Nm, 4x clips, 1x fastener cover, 3x connectorsRelease locking tabs, Disconnect bed outlet connectors from bed side wall and ground strap, 1x bolt, 10mm, 10 Nm, 2x connectors, Release locking tabs, Slide lock to release.

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

26. Remove RH bed closeout panel
    Note

    6x clips, 1x tab, Release RH tailgate cable by disengaging lock spring from bolt and sliding cable eyelet off in order to remove bed closeout panel from vehicle

    

    

    

    

27. Remove RH bed side wall

    1x bolt, 15mm, 46 Nm, 2x bolts, T40, 36 Nm, 4x bolts, 10mm, 11 Nm, 2x nuts, 10mm, 7 Nm, 4x clips, 1x fastener cover, 1x connector, Release locking tabs

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

28. Remove false wall

29. Remove fasteners securing RH tonneau NVH barrier
    Note

    6x bolts, T25, 5 Nm, Vehicles built before April 2024 will have 1-piece NVH cover, 5x bolts, 8mm, 5 Nm, Vehicles built after April 2024 will have updated 1-piece NVH cover, 9x bolts, 4mm Allen, 5 Nm, Vehicles built after October 2024 will have 2-piece NVH cover*part number for bolts needed

    

    

    

30. Remove RH tonneau NVH barrier

33. Remove two rear tonneau square profile support braces
    Note

    8x screws, T30, 5 Nm, 2x support braces, Remove two square support braces that are closest to rear of vehicle, Remove bolts at each end of support braces, Slide braces off of mounting points on flat cassette assemblies, Braces slide off in same direction of fasteners, maneuver each brace out of bed opening (*Note: No part number provided for the screws, they come with the square profile brace)

    

    

34. Remove front tonneau cover box cross supports
    Note

    8x screws, T25, 5 Nm

    

    

35. Remove tonneau applique
    Note

    2x bolts, T30, 9 Nm, Remove bolts then firmly pull upward from rear edge of applique to release rear of applique, Depress locking tab on forward mounting points to release

    

    

    

    

    

36. Remove LH backlight applique assembly
    Note

    2x clips, 1x adhesive strip, Cut adhesive then pry inward to release

    

    

    

37. Remove LH tonneau motor
    Note

    1x connector, 2x bolts, 10mm, 11 Nm

    

    

    

    

    

38. Remove lower tonneau brackets
    Note

    2x nuts, 13mm, 30 Nm, 1x bolts, 13mm, 30 Nm

    

    

39. Remove lower tonneau assembly fasteners

    1x nut, 10mm, 6 Nm, 1x bolt, 10mm, 6 Nm, 1x bolt, 13mm, 20 Nm

    

    

40. Remove LH tonneau flat cassette assembly

    Lift upwards to release from datum on back wall

    

    

41. Install LH tonneau flat cassette assembly
    Note

    Engage datum at back wall

    

    

42. Install LH tonneau flat cassette fasteners
    Note

    1x nut, 10mm, 6 Nm, 1x bolt, 10mm, 6 Nm, 1x bolt, 13mm, 20 Nm

    

    

43. Install LH lower tonneau bracket
    Note

    2x nuts, 13mm, 30 Nm, 1x bolts, 13mm, 30 Nm

    

    

44. Install LH tonneau motor
    Note

    1x connector, 2x bolts, 10mm, 11 Nm

    

    

    

    

45. Instal LH backlight applique assembly
    Note

    2x clips, Replace any missing or damaged clips, Install new double sided adhesive

    

    

    

46. Install tonneau applique
    Note

    2x bolts, T30, 9 Nm, Position over mounting points then apply downward pressure to engage front and rear attachment points, Install bolts, Ensure seal is not caught outboard of applique, Use trim tool to adjust seal position as required

    

    

    

    

    

    

47. Install front tonneau cover box cross supports
    Note

    8x screws, T25, 5 Nm

    

    

48. Install two rear tonneau square profile support braces
    Note

    8x screws, T30, 5 Nm, Install two square support braces that are closest to rear of vehicle, Slide notches at each of support brace to mounting points on flat cassette assemblies, Square supports install in the same direction of the fasteners

    

    

49. Position LH tonneau NVH barrier
    Note

    Vehicles built before April 2024 will have 1-piece NVH cover, Vehicles built after April 2024 will have updated 1-piece NVH cover, Vehicles built after October 2024 will have 2-piece NVH cover, Maneuver around bed wall then position

    

    

    

    

    

    

50. Install fasteners securing LH tonneau NVH barrier

55. Install RH bed closeout panel

    6x clips, 1x tab, Release RH tailgate cable to install bed closeout panel from vehicle

    

    

    

56. Install LH lower bed side wall
    Note

    1x bolt, 15mm, 46 Nm, 2x bolts, 13mm, 36 Nm, 4x bolts, 10mm, 11 Nm, 2x nuts, 10mm, 7 Nm, 4x clips, 1x fastener cover, 1x connector, Secure locking tabs, Connect bed outlet connectors onto bed side wall and ground strap, 1x bolt, 10mm, 10 Nm, 2x connectors, Secure locking tabs, Slide lock to secure, Recommend assistance

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

57. Install LH bed closeout panel

58. Install bed floor assembly

    2x tabs, 1x datum, 3x clips, Position LH outboard bolster into place, Ensure all clips and tabs are fully engaged, Replace any missing or damaged clips, Secure LH 2nd row shoulder cover, Perform push-pull-push test

67. Install LH mid A-pillar trim

68. Install rear header trim

69. Install front header trim

70. Lower and move LH front seat to original position
