Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Move the LH front seat fully forward.
  3. Disconnect the LH seat track position sensor electrical connector, remove the screw that attaches the sensor to the seat assembly, and then remove the sensor from the vehicle.
    2 Nm (1.5 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 socket

Install

  1. Position the LH seat track position sensor into the seat assembly, connect the electrical connector, and then install the screw that attaches the sensor to the seat assembly.
    2 Nm (1.5 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 socket
  2. Restore the LH front seat back to its original position.
  3. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
