Remove
- Open all the doors and lower all the windows.
- Move the front seats fully forward.

Release the clips (10x) and tabs (x3)
that attach the center console back panel to the center console, disconnect the
electrical connectors (x3), and then remove the panel from the center console
assembly.

Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the rear of the center console to the riser.
5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- 10 mm socket
- Remove the LH and RH center floor rails. See Rail - Center Floor - LH (Remove and Install).
- Remove the center console front panel. See Panel - Front - Center Console (Remove and Install).

Remove the bolts (x4) that attach the
front of the center console to the riser.
5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- 10 mm socket

Disconnect the center console harness
electrical connectors (x2).
NoteConnector count may vary depending on vehicle build.

Lift the center console upwards to
release it from the riser, and then remove the center console from the vehicle.
Install

Position the center console into the
vehicle, and then lower the center console onto the riser.

Connect the center console harness
electrical connectors (x2).
NoteConnector count may vary depending on vehicle build.

Install the bolts (x4) that attach the
front of the center console to the riser.
5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- 10 mm socket
- Install the center console front panel. See Panel - Front - Center Console (Remove and Install).
- Install the LH and RH center floor rails. See Rail - Center Floor - LH (Remove and Install).
- Move the front seats forward.

Install the bolts (x2) that attach the
rear of the center console to the riser.
5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- 10 mm socket

Position the center console rear panel
to the center console assembly, connect the electrical connectors (x3), and secure the
clips (x10) and tabs (x3) that attach the panel to the center console.
NoteReplace any missing or damaged clips.
- Place the vehicle into Service Mode. See Service Mode.

On the vehicle touchscreen, navigate
to , and then tap Reinstall to reinstall the vehicle
software.
NoteReinstall will begin immediately. Once the software redeploy is complete, verify release notes are present via UI.
- Exit Service Mode. See Service Mode.
- Restore the LH and RH front seats back to their original position.
- Raise all the windows and close all the doors.
