Interior Camera - Interior Camera (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Place the vehicle into Service Mode. See Service Mode.
  3. Remove the rear view mirror. See Rearview Mirror - Rear View Miror (Remove and Install).
  4. Remove the rearview mirror beauty cover. See Rearview Mirror - Beauty Cover (Remove and Install).
  5. Remove the screws (x2) and release the harness clip that attach the interior camera to the rear view mirror beauty cover assembly, and then remove the interior camera from the cover assembly.
    0.8 Nm (7 lbs-in)

    • Torx T10 bit

Install

  1. Position the interior camera to the rear view mirror beauty cover assembly, and then install the screws (x2) and secure the harness clip that attach the interior camera to the cover assembly.
    0.8 Nm (7 lbs-in)

  2. Install the rearview mirror beauty cover. See Rearview Mirror - Beauty Cover (Remove and Install).
  3. Install the rear view mirror. See Rearview Mirror - Rear View Miror (Remove and Install).
  4. Unlock the vehicle Gateway. See Gateway (Unlock).
  5. On the vehicle touchscreen, navigate to Driver Assist > Cameras > Clear Camera Calibration > Camera Input > ForwardFacing, and then tap Run to clear camera calibration.
  6. Exit Service Mode. See Service Mode.
  7. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
