Inspect front external lights
NoteLook for cosmetic damages and humidity ingress

NoteLook for cosmetic damages and humidity ingress, it is acceptable for taillights to have some condensation

Inspect windshield for rock chips and
cracks
NoteNo damage in driver’s viewing area, airbag impact area, forward camera viewing area, or within 50 mm of edge allowed, No more than 3 cracks or chips to glass allowed

Check all emergency release cables and
switches
NoteFront door releases, Use caution with front door releases as door glass will not drop and could damage seals or bright molding, Remove 2nd row door panel pocket cover to reveal emergency cable

- On the touchscreen, tap the Service Mode "wrench" (at the bottom of the touchscreen UI), and then tap , click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
- Remove all the 4 wheels. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).

Record the tread depth for LH rear

NoteMeasure and record the outer, center, and inner tread depths, Measure the circumferential tire grooves only, Do not place the tire tread gauge probe on the molded treadwear indicators, Recommend replacement if tread depth is 4/32in (3mm) or less

Raise the vehicle to a comfortable
working height, and lower the lift onto locks.
CAUTION
Make sure there is an audible click of the locks on both sides before lowering, otherwise the vehicle may tilt to one side.
Make sure that the doors are clear of surrounding objects.

Perform visual inspection of HV
battery enclosure
NoteCheck for any dents, scrapes, or other damage
- Remove the front aero shield. See Aeroshield - Front (Remove and Install).

Remove front skid plate
Note8x nuts, 15mm, 50 Nm, 2x bolts, 11mm, 50 Nm
- Remove the rear skid plate. See Skid Plate - Rear (Remove and Install).
- Remove the rear aeroshield. See Aeroshield - Rear (Remove and Install).

Perform inspection of suspension
components
NoteCheck conditions of ball joints and bushings, etc, Inspect for any loose fasteners, Carefully apply pressure with a pry bar as needed

Perform inspection of steering
components
NoteCheck steering gear joints and electrical connections, Verify components are not bent or damaged

Perform visual inspection of underside
of vehicle for any coolant leaks
NotePay special attention to hose connection points

Perform inspection of vehicle
underside components front and rear
NotePerform inspection of vehicle underside front and rear, Check for signs of abnormal damage, wear, heavy rust, wiring damage, or impact damage, Pay attention to safety related component and note any items of significance
- Install the rear aeroshield. See Aeroshield - Rear (Remove and Install).
- Install the rear skid plate. See Skid Plate - Rear (Remove and Install).
- Install the front aero shield. See Aeroshield - Front (Remove and Install).
- Install all the 4 wheels. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
- Install the frunk assembly. See Frunk Assembly (Remove and Install).

Check for active alerts
NoteCheck alert using UI via service mode > active alerts" to "Check alerts using UI via Service Mode > Service Alerts > Active Alerts

Update vehicle firmware if
available
NoteSelect the clock on the center display, or go to the Software tab, then select install now to start firmware update. Select Install Now, Tap count down timer until clock runs down to 0, Check the center display and ensure the firmware package is installing

Exit Service Mode through UI
NotePress and hold the Exit Service Mode button for 3 seconds
