Warning

Cybertruck electronics are powered by a 48V "mid voltage" or "MV" architecture that is designed to improve efficiency. Servicing MV components requires extra knowledge and care in order to avoid personal and/or vehicular harm. Read and understand MV precautions in Electrical Precautions and make sure any required MV-related training courses have been completed, as applicable.

2x bolts, 15mm, 33 Nm, Break free then remove by hand to avoid tool jamming, Support manifold from underneath, Lower Supermanifold until resting on HVAC case
Remove coolant bottle cap
Release compressor from Megabeam

3x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm, Recommend assistance, Support the AC compressor while removing the fasteners, Carefully remove the AC compressor towards the front of the vehicle and under the Megabeam, Place fender cover on fan housing and gently place AC compressor assembly down
Release bolts securing megabeam

4x bolts, 21mm, 165 Nm, 4x bolts, EP14, 18 Nm, Break free by hand before using power tools, Some trucks may not be equipped with two rearmost EP14 bolts
Remove Megabeam from vehicle

Ensure harness is not caught or pinched during removal
Release RH front wheel liner from HV battery chinstrap

Release RH front wheel liner push nuts

Apply harness tape onto LH jumper coax overlay cable before installation

Use Anti-abrasion tape and wrap the entire length of the coax cable to protect the cable for damage when it is in the vehicle
Position LH jumper coax overlay cable into place, Place through LH wheel liner

Note
Pull till you have roughly 7 inches of cable towards the interior of the vehicle
Pull LH jumper coax overlay cable through LH frunk harness

Pull harness towards male connector side
Position LH jumper coax overlay cable onto LH frunk main harness, Secure cable onto harness using zip ties

14x zip-ties, Trim off excess material after harness has been secured
Cut off the vehicle side repeater coax terminal and tape to vehicle harness

Cut the coax connector only
Support supermanifold with inflatable air bag

Note
Insert inflatable airbag between body and supermanifold
Release RH grommet from body
Remove electrical tape securing harness bundle to rubber dust boot

Use a razor blaze, carefully cut electrical tape away to expose rubber dust boot, Do not damage coax
Apply harness tape onto LH coax overlay cable before installation

Note
Use Anti-abrasion tape and wrap the entire length of the coax cable to protect the cable for damage when it is in the vehicle
Pull LH coax overlay cable through RH frunk harness

Note
Pull harness towards car computer
Pull LH coax overlay cable through bulkhead and into interior cabin
Release side fender cameras connector X0858 from car computer

Note
1x connector, Release red tab before removing connector
Remove locking pin from side fender cameras connector

Note
Carefully pry pin out of connector and fully remove locking pin
Remove coax terminal 2 (LHS) cable from connector
Insert new side repeater coax terminal 2 (LHS) cable onto side repeater cameras connector

Note
Ensure both coax cables are fully seated into connector, Audible locking and flush mounting to confirm
Secure locking pin to connector

Note
Align tabs of lock in connector housing, Ensure flush installation of locking pin to connector housing
Position LH coax overlay cable onto RH frunk main harness, Secure cable onto harness using zip ties

Note
13x zip-ties, Trim off excess material after harness has been secured
Cut off the vehicle side repeater coax terminal and tape to vehicle harness

Note
Cut the coax connector only
Apply harness tape onto RH coax overlay cable before installation

Note
Use Anti-abrasion tape and wrap the entire length of the coax cable to protect the cable for damage when it is in the vehicle
Position RH coax overlay cable into place, Place through RH wheel liner

Remove locking pin from side fender cameras connector

Carefully pry pin out of connector and fully remove locking pin
Remove coax terminal 1 (RHS) cable from connector
Insert new side repeater coax terminal 1 (RHS) cable onto side repeater cameras connector

Ensure both coax cables are fully seated into connector, Audible locking and flush mounting to confirm
Secure locking pin to connector

Note
Align tabs of lock in connector housing, Ensure flush installation of locking pin to connector housing
Install side fender cameras connector X0858 onto car computer

1x connector, Secure red tab
Position RH coax overlay cable onto RH frunk main harness, Secure cable onto harness using zip ties

8x zip-ties, Trim off excess material after harness has been secured
Cut off the vehicle side repeater coax terminal and tape to vehicle harness

Unlock vehicle gateway

Note
After vehicle has been put into "Service Mode", place keycard on center console to turn on drive rails, hold down the brake pedal, while keep pressing right hand signal button simultaneously for at least 10 seconds, "GTW UNLOCKING" should pop up on the UI right next to the VIN during these 10 seconds, once gateway is unlocked "GTW UNLOCKED 5400" will be displayed on the UI next to the VIN, the gateway will remain unlocked for 90 minutes, follow steps on Toolbox article #5582900 for any additional information
Clear camera calibration via Service UI

Connect to vehicle using Toolbox 3

OBD-II connection is integrated into drivers lower IP cover, Open Toolbox 3 website and establish connection to vehicle, https://toolbox.teslamotors.com, Select connection status icon at top right corner then select connect locally, Icon will turn green when connected, Successful connection will automatically unlock vehicle gateway and place UI in Service Mode Plus
