Center Console - Armrest Assembly (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Follow the steps to remove the rear display and airwave assembly from the center console. See Touchscreen - Rear Display (Remove and Install).

    Note
    Remove the rear display and airwave assembly together. It is not necessary to remove the airwave assembly from the rear display.
  2. Remove the screws (x5) that attach the center console armrest assembly to the center console, and then remove the armrest from the center console.
    5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)

    Note
    Maneuver the armrest to release the datums (x4) and out of the center console as needed.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 socket

Install

  1. Position the center console armrest assembly to the center console, and then install the screws (x5) that attach the armrest to the center console.
    5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 socket
  2. Install the rear display and airwave assembly into the center console. See Touchscreen - Rear Display (Remove and Install).
