Rearview Mirror - Rear View Miror (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Release the clips on the bottom of the rear view mirror stay arm cap to release it from the rear view mirror assembly, and then pivot the cap away from the assembly to remove it.
  3. Remove the screw that attaches the rear view mirror to the vehicle, and then remove the rear view mirror from the vehicle.
    2 Nm (1.5 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 socket

Install

  1. Position the rear view mirror into the vehicle, and then install the screw that attaches the rear view mirror to the vehicle.
    2 Nm (1.5 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 socket
  2. Position the rear view mirror stay arm cap to the rear view mirror assembly, and then install the cap to the assembly.

    Align the top of cover with the mirror, and then engage the lower clips.
  3. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
