Remove
- Remove the tailgate inner cover. See Cover - Inner - Tailgate (Remove and Install).

Press the tab to release the license
plate lamp, and then push the lamp outward to remove it.
Install

Position the license plate lamp into
the vehicle, and then push the lamp inwards until the tab engages.
