Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Move the LH front seat fully forward.
  3. Release the clips (x6) that attach the LH front seat inboard cover to the seat assembly, and then remove the cover from the assembly.
  4. Disconnect the LH front seat buckle electrical connector.
  5. Remove the bolt that attaches the LH front seat buckle to the seat assembly, and then remove the buckle from the assembly.
    45 Nm (33.2 lbs-ft)

    The bolt is captive.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T50 socket

Install

  1. Position the LH front seat buckle onto the seat assembly, and then install the bolt that attaches the buckle to the assembly.
    45 Nm (33.2 lbs-ft)

    Note
    The bolt is captive. Apply threadlock to the bolt if reinstalling the same buckle.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T50 socket
  2. Connect the LH front seat buckle electrical connector.
  3. Position the LH front seat inboard cover onto the seat assembly, and then engage the clips (x6) that attach the cover to the assembly.
  4. Restore the LH front seat back to its original position.
  5. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
