Front Seat Sliders and Controllers - 1R Seat Inboard Riser LH (Remove and Replace)

- 2024-03-07: Added torque values for inboard riser to vehicle and inboard riser to crossmember.
Remove
- Open the RH front door and lower the RH front window.
- Move the RH front seat fully forward.
- Remove the center console rear panel. See Center Console - Back Panel Assembly (Remove and Install).

Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the
rear of the center console to the riser.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket
- Move the RH front seat fully rearward.
- Remove the RH center floor rail. See Passenger Compartment Carpet - Center Floor Rail - LH (Remove and Install).
- Remove the LH front seat assembly. See Front Seat Assemblies - 1st Row Seat Assembly - LH Drive - LH - Black (Remove and Install).
- Remove the LH center floor rail. See Passenger Compartment Carpet - Center Floor Rail - LH (Remove and Install).
- Remove the center console. See Center Console - Center Console Assembly (Remove and Install).

Remove the bolt that attaches the LH
front seat outboard riser to the crossmember.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 15 mm socket

Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the
LH inboard seat riser to the crossmember.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket

Release the clips (x2) that attach the
rear cabin carpet to the LH front cabin carpet.

Remove the driver carpet
assembly.
NoteThe plastic portions at the rear of the carpet need to clear risers.

Use a trim tool to release the clips
(x6) that attach the LH front seat inboard riser cover to the riser, and then remove the
cover from the riser.

Release the clips (x2) that attach the
rearward duct to the inboard riser, and then remove the duct from the riser.

Remove and discard the bolts (x2) that
attach the LH front seat inboard riser to the vehicle, and then remove the riser from
the vehicle.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 13 mm socket
Install

Position the LH front seat inboard
riser into the vehicle, and then install new bolts (x2) that attach the riser to the
vehicle.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 13 mm socket

Position the rearward duct into the inboard riser, and then install the clips (x2)
that attach the duct to the riser.

Position the LH front seat inboard riser cover to the riser, and then engage the
clips (x6) that attach the cover to the riser.
NoteStart from the bottom of the cover and work upward.

Install driver carpet assembly.
NoteThe plastic portions at the rear of the carpet need to clear risers.

Secure the clips (x2) that attach the rear cabin carpet to the LH front cabin
carpet.

Install the bolts (x2) that attach the LH inboard seat riser to the crossmember.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket

Install the bolt that attaches the LH front seat outboard riser to the
crossmember.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 15 mm socket
- Install the center console. See Center Console - Center Console Assembly (Remove and Install).
- Install the LH front seat assembly. See Front Seat Assemblies - 1st Row Seat Assembly - LH Drive - LH - Black (Remove and Install).
- Raise the RH rear window and close the RH rear door.
- Restore the RH front seat back to its original position.
- Raise the RH front window and close the RH front door.
