Front Brake Rotors - Calipers and Pads - Front Brake Caliper - LH (Remove and Install)

Remove
- Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
- Raise and support the vehicle on a 2 post lift. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
- Open the powered frunk.
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Trim - Rear Apron Assembly (Remove and Install).
- Remove the LH front wheel cap. See Wheel Cover - Front - LH (Remove and Install).

Loosen the LH front wheel lug nuts
(x6)..Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 21 mm deep socket
- Raise the vehicle fully.

Remove the nuts (x6) that attach the
wheel to the hub, and then remove the wheel from the vehicle.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 21 mm deep socket

Remove the bolt that attaches the LH
front brake hose bracket to the knuckle.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm deep socket
- Position an oil drain underneath the LH front brake hose.

Remove the bolt that attaches the hose
to the LH front brake caliper.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 11 mm deep socket

Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the LH front caliper to the knuckle.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 24 mm socket
Install

Install the bolts (x2) that attach the
LH front caliper to the knuckle.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 24 mm socket
NoteRecommend assistance.NoteThe rotor will be loose until the caliper is installed. -
Install the bolt that attaches the
hose to the LH front brake caliper.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 11 mm deep socket

Install the bolt that attaches the LH
front brake hose bracket to the knuckle.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm deep socket

Remove the oil drain from underneath
the vehicle.
- Bleed the LH front caliper. See Brake Fluid Bleed - One Caliper.
- Install the LH front wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
- Install the LH front wheel cap. See Wheel Cover - Front - LH (Remove and Install).
- Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Trim - Rear Apron Assembly (Remove and Install)
- Close the powered frunk.
- Remove the vehicle from the lift. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
- Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.

Perform a road test and burnish the
brakes.
