Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Place the vehicle into Service Mode. See Service Mode.
  3. Unlock the vehicle Gateway. See Gateway (Unlock).
  4. On the vehicle touchscreen, navigate to Service > Chassis > Suspension > Service > Deflate All, and then tap Run and allow the routine to complete.
  5. Remove the LH rear knuckle assembly. See Knuckle - Rear - LH (Remove and Install).
  6. Remove the bolts (x4) that attach the LH rear lower control arm to the vehicle, and then remove the control arm from the vehicle.
    185 Nm (136.4 lbs-ft)

Install

  1. With assistance, position the LH rear lower control arm into the vehicle, and then install the bolts (x4) that attach the control arm to the vehicle.

  2. Install the LH rear knuckle assembly. See Knuckle - Rear - LH (Remove and Install).
  3. On the vehicle touchscreen, navigate to Service > Chassis > Suspension > Service > Inflate All, and then tap Run and allow the routine to complete.
  4. Exit Service Mode. See Service Mode.
  5. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
