Front Seat Control Switches - 1R Seat SW Grey LH 8WY+LBR (Remove and Install)

Remove
- Open the LH front door.
- Lower the LH windows.
- Move the LH front seat fully forward.

Use a flathead screwdriver to
rotate the lock mechanism on the front seat belt linkage counterclockwise to
release it from the pretensioner, and then slide the linkage off the
pretensioner and set it aside.
CAUTIONDO NOT rotate clockwise to avoid damage to the mechanism.NoteThe linkage design may vary, but will function the same.NoteThe lock screw will remain in the horizontal position when released.NoteA light audible click will be heard when the linkage is released.

Adjust the steering column fully
forward and fully up in height level.
NoteUse the vehicle touchscreen Controls > Steering, and then use left steering wheel scroll wheel to adjust the steering column.

Remove the bolts (x3), and then remove
the 1st row seat switch assembly.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T20 socket

Install the bolts (x3) that attach the
1st row seat switch assembly.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T20 socket
- Install the LH outboard side shield. See Front Seat Covers and Pads - 1R LH Outboard Cybershield Fab (Remove and Install).
- Install the cushion and recliner adjustment buttons. See

Install the front seat belt
linkage to the pretensioner:
- Restore the LH front seat back to its original position.
- Restore the steering column back to its original position.
- Raise the LH windows.
- Close the LH front door.
