  • 2025-06-09: Released new procedure.
  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  3. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Install).
  4. Connect to the vehicle using Toolbox 3. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).
  5. Select "Actions" and search for "EPB"
  6. Select PROC_EPBL_START-SERVICE-MODE, click 'Run', and allow routine to complete

    Chock wheel if necessary, Select ‘X’ at top right of window to close once complete
  7. Remove the LH rear wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
  8. Remove the LH rear wheel liner. See Wheel Liner - Rear - LH (Remove and Install)
  9. Position oil drain under LH rear brake caliper
  10. Remove LH rear brake hose

    1x bolt, 11mm, 42 Nm, 1x bolt, 10mm, 10 Nm, 1x flare nut, 14mm, 16 Nm
  11. Install LH rear brake hose

  12. Remove oil drain from underneath vehicle
  13. Install the LH rear wheel liner. See Wheel Liner - Rear - LH (Remove and Install).
  14. Hold brake pedal and select park on UI to disable EPB service mode
  15. Bleed the LH rear brake using Toolbox 3. See Brake Fluid Bleed - One Caliper.
  16. Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Install).
  17. Install the LH rear wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
  18. Remove the vehicle from the lift. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  19. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
