Remove

  1. Remove the LH roof rail cantrail trim. See Trim - Cantrail - Roof Rail - LH (Remove and Replace).
  2. Separate windshield LH edge seal from rear edge seal

    Move top left corner away from glass, Measure and cut at rear edge seal, Use new LH edge seal to measure
  3. Remove windshield LH edge seal
  4. Remove adhesive residue from windshield LH edge

    Use finger and trim tool to roll adhesive, Do not scrape ribbon harness

Install

  1. Clean windshield LH edge

    Allow 1 minute dry time
  2. Position windshield LH edge seal

    Do not remove red backing, Apply tape as needed, Align seal with glass edges, Tuck seal under glass
  3. Adhere windshield LH edge seal

    Start at top left corner, Pull red backing then apply weather strip adhesive onto seal double-sided tape, Press seal up onto glass, Remove tape as needed, Align seal with glass edges
  4. Adhere windshield rear edge seal corner

    Cut as needed, Apply weather strip adhesive onto seal double-sided tape, Align with LH edge seal then press seal onto glass
  5. Install the LH roof rail cantrail trim. See Trim - Cantrail - Roof Rail - LH (Remove and Replace).
