Skid Plate Stamping (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the plastic skid plate. See Skid Plate (Remove and Install).
  2. Remove the front aero shield. See Aeroshield - Front (Remove and Install).
  3. Remove the fasteners (x10) that attach the skid plate stamping to the vehicle, and then remove the skid plate from the vehicle.
    50 Nm (36.9 lbs-ft)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 15 mm socket
    • 11 mm socket

Install

  1. Remove the fasteners (x10) that attach the skid plate stamping to the vehicle, and then remove the skid plate from the vehicle.
    50 Nm (36.9 lbs-ft)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 15 mm socket
    • 11 mm socket
  2. Install the front aero shield. See Aeroshield - Front (Remove and Install).
  3. Install the plastic skid plate. See Skid Plate (Remove and Install).
