1. Apply masking tape to work area
   Note

   Ensure lower fascia and powergate fascia are protected

   

2. Remove center applique
   Note

   1x connector, Tabs will likely break, Pry outwards from bottom then pull down to release, Remove any debris if present, Release connector locking tab

   

3. Enlarge center hole of front end module
   Note

   Drill at upper section of oval opening, Drill through with 23mm bit from casting repair kit

   

4. Release powergate latch
   Note

   Maneuver manual frunk latch release tool into hole, Rotate tool so tab is pointing upwards, Pull outwards while lifting upwards, Lever on latch will release, Push upwards on powergate while releasing to fully disengage latch

   

5. Remove masking tape
   Note

   Wipe off any residue with IPA wipes

   

6. Remove frunk switch
   Note

   4x tabs

   

   

7. Install frunk switch
   Note

   2x tabs, Ensure switch is fully seated in applique assembly

   

   

8. Install front center applique
   Note

   8x tabs, 1x connector, Ensure all tabs engage, Secure frunk release trigger connector

   

   

9. Close powered front trunk
   Note

   Via exterior switch or UI
