Harness - AC Filter - HV Battery (Structural Pack) (Remove and Replace)

Remove
- Open all the doors and lower all the windows.
- Place the vehicle into Service Mode. See Service Mode.
- Remove the ancillary bay cover. See Cover - Ancillary Bay (Structural Pack) (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the pyrotechnic battery disconnect. See Pyrotechnic Battery Disconnect (Structural Pack) (Remove and Install).

Release the locking tab, and then
disconnect the AC filter harness connector.
NoteRelease the locking tab by pulling upward. Use a plastic trim tool to help lift the connector.

Release the clips (x2) that attach the
AC filter harness to the tray.

Disconnect the fast charge contactor
connector.
NotePush on both side of connector to release the tabs, and then pull upward to disconnect.

Remove and discard the bolt that
attaches the AC filter harness to the negative DC inlet busbar.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 13 mm socket

attaches the AC filter harness to the positive DC inlet busbar.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 13 mm socket

Remove the HV battery AC filter
harness from the ancillary bay.
Install

Position the HV battery AC filter
harness into the ancillary bay.

Install a new bolt that attaches the
AC filter harness to the positive DC inlet busbar.NoteTighten the bolt to 15 Nm, back off 180 degrees, then torque to 5 Nm +60 degrees.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 13 mm socket

AC filter harness to the negative DC inlet busbar.NoteTighten the bolt to 15 Nm, back off 180 degrees, then torque to 5 Nm +60 degrees.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

Use a Hioki resistance meter to
measure the resistance at the HV joint between the newly-installed AC filter harness and
the positive DC inlet busbar.
NoteThe resistance should be 150µΩ or less.

measure the resistance at the HV joint between the newly-installed AC filter harness and
the negative DC inlet busbar.
NoteThe resistance should be 150µΩ or less.

Connect the fast charge contactor
connector.

Install the clips (x2) that attach the
AC filter harness to the tray.

Connect the PCS to fast charge
contactor AC filter harness connector, and then engage the red locking tab.
NoteMake sure the connector is fully seated.
- Measure the voltage across the pyrotechnic battery disconnect mount points, and then install the pyrotechnic battery disconnect. See Pyrotechnic Battery Disconnect (Structural Pack) (Remove and Install).
- Install the ancillary bay cover. See Cover - Ancillary Bay (Structural Pack) (Remove and Replace).
- Exit Service Mode. See Service Mode.
- Remove the vehicle from the lift. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
- Raise all the windows and close all the doors.
