Replace Replace with new patched bolt (PN - 1484170-00-A)

Remove

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  2. Remove and discard the bolt that attaches the rear suspension cover to the LH lower rear control arm assembly.
    6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)

    Replace with patch bolt (PN - 1484170-00-A).

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
    • 2 in extension
  3. Release the tabs (x2) that attach the rear suspension cover to the LH lower rear control arm assembly, and then remove the rear suspension cover from the vehicle.

Install

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
