Radar - Cabin (Remove and Replace)

  • 2026-07-17: Removed the check base and overhead console removal/installation steps, and added the radar bolt part number.

Replace 1128091-00-B

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Rotate both sun visors away from the check bases.
  3. With assistance, pull downwards on the front portion of the headliner to release the clips (x5) from the body.

    Start to release from the front center. Place shop towels between the headliner and body to gain access.

    The headliner is shown removed in the illustration for clarity.
  4. Disconnect the connector from the cabin radar.
  5. Release the bolt that attaches the cabin radar to the body, release the clip (x1) and then remove the cabin radar from the vehicle.

    The bolt is captive inside the radar housing and cannot be removed from the radar assembly.

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T30 socket

Install

  1. Clip the cabin radar to the body, and then install a new bolt that attaches the cabin radar to the body.
    9 Nm (6.6 lbs-ft)

  2. Connect the connector to the cabin radar.
  3. Secure the front center of the headliner to the body.
  4. Reinstall the firmware. See Software Reinstall - Touchscreen.
  5. Return both sun visors back to their original positions.
  6. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
