Radar - Cabin (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the front doors and windows.
  2. Remove the LH and RH magnetic check base. See Check Base - Magnetic - Sun Visor - LH (Remove and Replace).
  3. Release the clips (x2) that attach the front overhead console to the headliner, and then lower the console from the headliner.

    CAUTION
    To avoid damaging the headliner, do not pry against the headliner. Insert a 90 degree trim tool near the dome light and pull downwards to release the clip, and then move to the other side to release the remaining clip.
  4. Disconnect the front overhead console connector, and then remove the front overhead console.
  5. Pull downwards ont the front portion of the headliner to release the clips (x4) from the body.
  6. Disconnect the connector from the interior radar assembly.
  7. Release the bolt (torque 9 Nm) that attaches the interior radar to the body, release the clip (x1) and then remove the interior radar assembly from the vehicle.

    The bolt is captive inside the radar housing and cannot be removed from the radar assembly.
