Remove
- Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
- Disconnect the LV battery power. See 12V/LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).

Remove the nut that attaches the front harness assembly to the 12V battery
ground.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket

Remove the bolt that attaches the 12V battery ground to the body.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket

Remove the 12V battery ground.
NoteRemove the electrical tape from the harness.
Install

Install the 12V battery ground.
NoteUse electrical tape to wrap the 12V battery ground and the front harness assembly together.

Install the bolt that attaches the 12V battery ground to the body.
10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- 10 mm socket

Install the nut that attaches the front harness assembly to the 12V battery
ground.
8.5 Nm (6.3 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- 10 mm socket
- Connect the LV battery power. See 12V/LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
- Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
