Skull Cap - Door Mirror - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Use a plastic trim tool to release the outerboard edge of the door mirror skull cap.
  2. Use a plastic trim tool to release the front inboard edge of the door mirror skull cap.
  3. Lift the door mirror skull cap upwards to release the remaining clips that attach it to the door mirror assembly, and then remove the door mirror skull cap from the door mirror assembly.

Install

  1. Position the door mirror skull cap over the door mirror assembly, and align the skull cap clips to the tabs on the door mirror assembly.
  2. Push down on the top of the door mirror skull cap to fasten the clips that attach it to the door mirror assembly.

    Make sure the gaps between the inner perimeter of sthe kull cap and door mirror assembly are within specification.
