Inspection Details
- Remove the rear aero shield. SeePanel - Aero Shield - Rear (Remove and Replace) .

Remove the bolt and tabs (x2) that
attach the LH rear suspension cover, and then remove the cover.

Remove the bolt and tabs (x2) that
attach the RH rear suspension cover, and then remove the cover.

Inspect the LH rear stabilizer bar
ball joints.
NoteVisually Inspect the ball joint for cracks, grease leakage, unseated boot, and/or boot puncture.

Inspect the LH rear toe link to
subframe bushing.
NoteExamine the inner bushing of the LH toe link for unusual cracks. Use a pry bar to confirm that there is no excessive movement.

Inspect the LH rear toe link to
knuckle bushing.
NoteExamine the outer bushing of the LH toe link for unusual cracks. Use a pry bar to confirm that there is no excessive movement.

Inspect the LH rear lower aft link to
subframe bushing.
NoteExamine the inner bushing of the LH rear lower aft link for unusual cracks. Use a pry bar to confirm that there is no excessive movement. Inspect both sides of the bushing.

Inspect the LH rear lower aft link to
knuckle bushing.
NoteExamine the outer bushing of the LH rear lower aft link for unusual cracks. Use a pry bar to confirm that there is no excessive movement. Examine both sides of the bushing.

Inspect the LH rear upper aft link to
subframe bushing.

Install the tabs (x2) and bolt that
attach the RH rear suspension cover.
6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft) -
Install the tabs (x2) and bolt that
attach the LH rear suspension cover.
6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft) - Install the rear aero shield. See Panel - Aero Shield - Rear (Remove and Replace) .
- Partially lower the vehicle.

Inspect the suspension link play on
the RH and LH rear wheels.
NoteIf excessive play is detected on the wheel, proceed to full upper knuckle play inspection (CC: 31030130, 31031812, 31031822).
