Valance - Front Fascia (Remove and Replace)

Torque Specifications

  • 10 mm deep socket
  • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
Reuse

Remove

  1. Remove the front aero shield panel. See Panel - Aero Shield - Front (Non-Structural Pack) (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the clips that attach the front valance to the LH wheel arch liner.
  3. Remove the clips that attach the front valance to the RH wheel liner.
  4. Release the harness clip, and then disconnect the pedestrian warning harness connector.

    Pull the locking tab to release the connector lock.

    Pedestrian warning speaker is located behind the RH wheel liner.
  5. Remove the nut that attaches the RH corner of the front valance to the front fascia.
    3 Nm (2.2 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm deep socket
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
  6. Remove the clips that attach the RH corner of the front valance to the front fascia.
  7. Repeat step 5 and step 6 for the LH side of the vehicle.
  8. Remove the clips that attach the front valance to the front fascia, and then remove the valance from the vehicle.

Install

Installation steps are the reverse of removal.
