Torque Specifications

Remove
- Remove the front aero shield panel. See Panel - Aero Shield - Front (Non-Structural Pack) (Remove and Replace).
- 
          Remove the clips that attach
                        the front valance to the LH wheel arch liner.
          
- 
          Remove the clips that attach the front valance to the RH wheel liner.
          
- 
          Release the harness clip, and then disconnect the pedestrian warning
                        harness connector.
          NotePull the locking tab to release the connector lock.NotePedestrian warning speaker is located behind the RH wheel liner.NoteThe connector access may vary depending on the version of the super horn audio speaker installed on the vehicle.
- 
          Remove the nut that attaches the RH corner of the front valance to the
                        front fascia. 3 Nm (2.2 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended: 3 Nm (2.2 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- 10 mm deep socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
 
- 
          Remove the clips that attach the RH corner of the front valance to the
                        front fascia.
          
- Repeat step 5 and step 6 for the LH side of the vehicle.
- 
          Remove the clips that attach the front valance to the front fascia, and
                        then remove the valance from the vehicle.
          
- 
          Remove the screws that
                        attach the pedestrian warning speaker to the front valance, and then remove
                        the speaker from the valance. 1.8 Nm (1.3 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended: 1.8 Nm (1.3 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Torx Plus IP25 socket
- Flex head ratchet / flex head torque wrench
- 2 in extension
 
Install
Installation steps are the reverse of removal, except for the following:
