Hose - Outlet - Radiator (Remove and Replace)

Remove
- Open the LH front door and fully lower the LH front window.
- Raise and support the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the under hood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
- Disconnect 12V power. See 12V/LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
- Remove the front aero shield panel. See Panel - Aero Shield - Front (Non-Structural Pack) (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the front fascia valance. See Valance - Front Fascia (Remove and Replace).
- Lower the vehicle fully.
- Position a fluid catch container underneath the front of the vehicle.
- Release the spring clip, disconnect the coolant hose from the radiator outlet hose, and then plug the male and female fittings.
- Release the clip that attaches the radiator outlet hose to the RH side of the vehicle.
- Release the spring clip, disconnect the radiator outlet hose from the supermanifold, and then plug the supermanifold.
Install

Unplug the supermanifold, connect the radiator outlet hose to the
supermanifold, and then fasten the clip.
NotePerform a push-pull-push test on the fittings to make sure that they are secure.

Remove the plugs from the coolant hose and radiator outlet hose,
immediately connect the male and female fittings, and then fasten the
clip.

- Install the clip that attaches the radiator outlet hose to the RH side of the vehicle.
- Remove the fluid catch container from underneath the front of the vehicle.
- Install the front fascia valance. See Valance - Front Fascia (Remove and Replace).
- Install the front aero shield panel. See Panel - Aero Shield - Front (Non-Structural Pack) (Remove and Replace).
- Lower the vehicle fully.

Remove the coolant bottle
cap, and then fill the coolant to the proper level.
NoteEnsure that the coolant level is at the "Max" line.
- Connect 12V power. See 12V/LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
- Connect to vehicle using Toolbox 3.0.
- In Toolbox, click Actions/Autodiag, type "Purge" in the search field.

NoteAllow the routine to complete, and then click the "x" at the top right of the window to close.

Inspect the coolant level
and top off as necessary, and then install the coolant bottle cap.
NoteEnsure that the coolant level is at the "Max" line.
- Install the under hood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
- Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
- Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
