  1. Open all four doors
  2. Lower all four windows
  3. Open the hood.
  4. Remove the rear apron.
  5. Release washer fluid reservoir neck from frunk

  6. Release washer tank neck from washer tank and set aside

    1x O-ring, No need to remove hose from neck
  7. Remove HEPA filter assembly

    2x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm, Pivot rearward edge up and past brake reservoir, Then lift up to clear frunk assembly, Note: Not all Model Y vehicles have a HEPA filter assembly installed
  8. Open liftgate
  9. Power off vehicle from center display

  10. Disconnect the 12V negative battery cable and First Responder Loop.
  11. Remove rear load floor

  13. Remove trunk sill trim

    3x tabs, 2x clips, Confirm each installation with push-pull test, Clip position should not be adjusted after bracket is removed or will result in bracket not seating properly, if clip position is changed or push-pull action shows bracket not secure, remove clip from tab and seat clip into doghouse on bracket and reinstall

  23. Remove LH liftgate stop

  24. Disconnect LH rear bodyside tail lamp assembly

    14x clips, Release from center of garnish and work your way outward towards both ends, Using clip prytool release yellow clips at rear of fascia to avoid damage to garnish
  35. Remove bolt securing LH rear fascia to body

  36. Remove RH rear fender garnish from vehicle

    14x clips, Release from center of garnish and work your way outward towards both ends, Using clip prytool release yellow clips at rear of fascia to avoid damage to garnish
  37. Remove bolt securing RH rear fascia to body

  38. Release rear fascia from body and disconnect rear fascia harness then remove assembly from vehicle

    1x connector, Slide red locking tab away from connector, Then depress black locking tab to release the connector. Recommend assistance, Place rear fascia on padded surface to avoid damage. Not need to disconnect rear fascia connector for AP4.
  39. Disconnect the RH body harness from rear subframe and RH rear EPB connector

    1x connector, Engage red locking tab, Recommend assistance, Verify lower portion aligns with rear diffuser. Not need to connect rear fascia connector for AP4.
  54. Apply Loctite 222 onto rear diffuser bolts and secure rear fascia to rear diffuser
