Seat Assembly - 2nd Row - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace)

- 2024-08-15: Added a note for NA vehicles to remind that the seat covers without ISOFIX flag for child locks must be replaced.
Remove
- Open the RH doors and fully lower the RH windows.
- Move the passenger seat fully forward.
- Remove the RH lower C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Lower - LH (7 Seat) (Remove and Replace).

Release the clip that attaches the RH 2nd row seat outboard track cover to
the RH 2nd row seat track, and then slide it forward to remove it from the
assembly.
Tip: Wedge a trim tool between the carpet and trim, and then pull the trim tool upward and forward to release the trim.

Release the clips that attach the 2nd row center track cover to the 2nd row
center seat track, and then slide the cover forward to release it from the
seat assembly.

Pull the cabin carpet towards the front of the vehicle to release it from
the RH 2nd row seat.

Remove and discard the bolts that attach the RH 2nd row seat podium to the
vehicle.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 11 mm deep socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- Fold the RH 2nd row seat down.
- Move the RH 2nd row seat fully forward.

Remove and discard the bolts that attach the RH 2nd row seat inner and
outer tracks to the vehicle.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 11 mm deep socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- Move the RH 2nd row seat fully rearward.

Disconnect the RH 2nd row seat electrical connector.

With assistance, remove the RH 2nd row seat assembly from the
vehicle.
NoteFor NA only: If the 2nd row seat that is not being replaced does not have ISOFIX flag for child locks, replace the seat cover. See Cover - Seat Back - 2nd Row - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
Install

With assistance, position the RH 2nd row seat assembly into the
vehicle.
CAUTIONDo not support the seat assembly by the cushion pan; support the seat assembly by the podium.

Connect the RH 2nd row seat electrical connector.

Install and hand tighten new bolts that attach the RH 2nd row seat podium
to the vehicle.
- Move the RH 2nd row seat fully forward.

Install new bolts that attach the RH 2nd row seat inner and outer tracks to
the vehicle.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 11 mm deep socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- Move the RH 2nd row seat to its original position.

Tighten the new bolts that attach the RH 2nd row seat podium to the
vehicle.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 11 mm deep socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench

Fold the cabin carpet to its original position.

Position the center 2nd row seat track cover onto the 2nd row center seat
track, and then fasten the clips that attach the cover to the
assembly.

Position the RH 2nd row seat outboard track cover onto the RH 2nd row seat
track, and then fasten the clips that attach the cover to the
assembly.
- Install the RH lower C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Lower - LH (7 Seat) (Remove and Replace).
- Move the passenger seat to its original position.
- Close the RH doors and raise the RH windows.
