Trim - B-Pillar - Mid - LH (Structural Pack) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the LH lower B-pillar trim. See Trim - B-Pillar - Lower - LH (Structural Pack) (Remove and Replace).
  2. Release the clips (x4) that attach the LH upper B-pillar trim to the B-pillar, and then move the trim aside.

    Note
    Pull the bottom of the trim away from the B-pillar first, and then pull the top to release the remaining clips.
  3. Remove the screw and release the clips (x4) that attach the LH mid B-pillar trim to the vehicle, and then remove the trim from the vehicle.
    2 Nm (1.5 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • T20 socket

Install

  1. Position the LH mid B-pillar trim into the vehicle, and install the screw and fasten the clips (x4) that attach the trim to the vehicle.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • T20 socket
  2. Move the LH upper B-pillar assembly into position, and then secure the clips (x4) that attach the trim to the vehicle.

    Note
    Lower the seat belt slider to align with the B-pillar panel. Insert the top portion of the upper B-pillar trim under the headliner to align the clips. Press the bottom to fully seat the upper B-pillar to lower B-pillar. Make sure the seal correctly overlaps the trim.
  3. Install the LH lower B-pillar trim. See Trim - B-Pillar - Lower - LH (Structural Pack) (Remove and Replace).
  4. Move the driver seat to the original position.
