Light - Fog / Reverse - Rear - LH (Remove and Install)

Torque Specifications

 Reuse

Remove

  1. Remove the liftgate lower trim. See Trim - Liftgate - Lower (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the nut that attaches the LH rear fog/reverse light to the liftgate.

    Note
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 8 mm deep socket
    • 4 in extension
  3. Disconnect the electrical wiring harness connector from the LH rear fog/reverse light.

    Note
    Release the red locking tab to unlatch the connector, and then release the connector.
  4. Use a plastic trim tool on the outboard side of the light to release the anchors on the light from the grommets on the liftgate.
  5. Remove the LH rear fog/reverse light from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Replace the connector gasket and lower stud gasket on LH liftgate tail lamp .
  2. Install the LH rear fog/reverse light so that the anchors are inserted into the grommets on the liftgate. Make sure the LH rear fog/reverse light is fllush with the liftgate.
  3. Install the nut that attaches the LH rear fog/reverse light to the liftgate.
    3.5 Nm (2.6 lbs-ft)

    Note
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 8 mm deep socket
    • 4 in extension
  4. Connect the electrical wiring harness connector to the LH rear fog/reverse light.

    Note
    Make sure the red locking tab is pressed down and the connector is fully connected.
  5. Install the liftgate lower trim. See Trim - Liftgate - Lower (Remove and Replace).
  6. Install the liftgate upper trim. See Trim - Upper - Liftgate (Remove and Replace).
  7. Close the liftgate.
