Module - Inductive Charger - Center Console (2.0) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the front doors and lower the front windows.
  2. Move the front seats to the most rearward and lowest position.
  3. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  4. Disconnect 12V/LV power. See 12V/LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  5. Pivot the center console armrest up for access.
  6. Release the clips (x17) that attach the center console decor trim to the center console, disconnect the connector, and then remove the decor trim from the center console.

    Note
    Release the surrounding clips first, and then release the front upper portion of trim.
  7. Remove the screws (x3) that attach the center console inductive charger module to the decor trim.
    1.3 Nm (1.0 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 socket
  8. Release the securing tabs (x2) and locating tabs (x2) to remove the inductive charger module from the center console decor trim.

Install

  1. Position the center console inductive charger module to the center console decor trim, and then secure the securing tabs (x2) and locating tabs (x2).
  2. Install the screws (x3) that attach the center console inductive charger module to the decor trim.
    1.3 Nm (1.0 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 socket
  3. Position the center console decor trim assembly onto the center console, connect the connector, and then secure the clips (x17) that attach the decor trim to the center console.
  4. Close the center console armrest.
  5. Connect 12V/LV power. See 12V/LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  6. Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  7. Close hood
  8. Move the front seat to the original positions.
  9. Raise the front windows and close the front doors.
