Harness - Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) - LH (Remove and Replace)

Torque Specifications

  • 10 mm socket
Reuse

Remove

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  2. Remove the LH rear wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
  3. Remove the LH rear wheel liner. See Wheel Arch Liner - Rear - LH (Non-Structural Pack) (Remove and Replace).
  4. Release the connector lock, and then disconnect the LH electronic parking brake caliper electrical connector.
  5. Remove the bolt that attaches the LH rear EPB harness bracket to the LH rear caliper.
    5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
    • 4 in extension
  6. Remove the bolt that attaches the LH rear EPB harness bracket to the body.
    5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
  7. Release the clip that attaches the LH rear EPB harness to the bracket body.
  8. Release the clip that attaches LH rear EPB harness to the body.
  9. Release the connector lock, and then disconnect the LH rear electronic parking brake harness from the rear main body harness.

Install

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
