  1. Raise and support vehicle

  2. Open LH front door
  3. Lower LH front window
  4. Open hood
  5. Remove rear apron

  6. Remove bolt securing frunk to washer fluid reservoir neck

  7. Release washer tank neck from washer tank and set aside

    1x O-ring, No need to remove hose from neck
  8. Remove HEPA filter assembly

    2x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm, Pivot rearward edge up and past brake reservoir, then lift up to clear frunk assembly
  9. Power off vehicle from center display

    Via Controls > Safety > Power Off, Select Power Off button at warning dialogue box
  10. Disconnect LV battery connector and First Responder Loop

    2x connectors, Lift up and release green locking tab, Pull black connector lock outwards to release connection, Release red lock tab on FRL, Allow 2 minutes for all electrical circuits to fully discharge
  11. Verify operation of multimeter

    Set multimeter to DC voltage, Confirm multimeter is properly measuring voltage by testing LV battery, Touch lightly and do not damage terminals
  12. Raise vehicle fully and lower lift onto locks

    Set vehicle to comfortable working height, Make sure there's an audible click of the locks on both sides before lowering, otherwise vehicle may tilt to the side
  13. Remove push clips at left and right wheel house liner to mid aero shield

    11x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm, Fasteners may vary, MYSP will have one less bolt and an extra clip
  15. Remove all items from pockets and ensure not wearing metal items
  16. Inspect HV insulating gloves

  17. Put on HV insulating gloves and leather over gloves

  18. Install amp clamp to RDU HV harness

    Verify meter is zeroed out before performing measurement, Measure single cable. Verify ammeter is installed in correct direction. If current > 0.5A do not proceed with disconnecting HV connector. In this case, start vehicle electrical isolation again to make sure that all was properly shut down. Escalate for assistance as requiredIf current < 0.5A, Ok to disconnect and check voltage at HV plug on the battery side.
  19. Release RDU HV harness from HV battery

    1x connector, Release locking tab and rotate the release lever up to disengage the connector, Do not force the release lever up, Ensure the alignment tabs on the RDU header are not damaged
  20. Verify no high voltage at RDU HV header

    Make sure to wear PPE (HV gloves, safety glasses) when working on high voltage component, Measure B+ to Ground, B- to Ground, B+ to B-, If voltage is greater than 10V, Pack contactors are not open or welded, Stop work and reach out to Service Engineering

    2x tabs, 4x datums, Install new vent, Align datums with battery then press evenly with both hands, Make sure tabs are fully engaged and vent is flush with battery
  23. Remove breather plugs from remaining thermal vents

    3x plugs, 3x tabs per plug, Discard after removal
  24. Install air splitter hoses onto thermal vents

  25. Connect enclosure leak tester onto air splitter
  26. Close both valves on the regulator test tool
  27. Connect regulator to air supply
  28. Turn right side regulator valve to the open position

    By turning the valve knob to a horizontal position, The valve is fully open
  29. Set regulator to 0.150 psi
  30. Open the left side regulator valve to inject air into the ancillary bay

    Close right side regulator valve when the pressure reaches 0.150 psi and stabilizes
  31. Wait 45 seconds for pressure to settle
  32. Record value of starting pressure
  33. Wait 60 seconds to test pressure
  34. Record value of end pressure

    Subtract the ending pressure from the starting pressure: If the difference is greater than 0.0054 psi, check the hose, adapter, plug fittings, and check the regulator pressure, then retest. If the difference is still greater than 0.0054 psi, escalate a Toolbox session. If the difference is 0.0054 psi or less, continue the procedure.
  35. Disconnect air supply from regulator tool

  37. Remove air splitter hoses from thermal vents

    Raise lift off locks, then hold lock release lever to keep locks free while vehicle is lowered
  45. Connect first responder loop and LV battery

  46. Install HEPA filter assembly

  47. Install washer tank neck to washer tank

  48. Secure frunk to washer fluid reservoir neck

  50. Close hood
