Note
This procedure is to be performed if the HV battery has been removed and components must be reworked or swapped between old and new HV batteries. Add this correction code as a separate activity.

Note
This procedure is to be performed if sealant is missing from the front corners of the center underbody during HV battery removal.

Procedure

  1. Apply masking tape to the affected area of the center underbody.
  2. Clean the surface of the center underbody using Isopropyl Alcohol wipes, and then allow 1 minute to dry.
  3. Apply 25 cm (10 in) of sealer to the affected area of the center underbody.
  4. Flatten the bead of sealant using nitril gloves.

    Note
    Make sure no gaps are left in the sealant.
  5. Remove the masking tape from the center underbody.
  6. Allow the seam sealer to dry for at least 30 minutes.
