Closeout Panel - Door - Rear - LH (Remove and Install)

Torque Specifications

Reuse

Remove

  1. Remove the rear LH door glass. See Glass - Door - LH - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the LH rear door outer belt seal. See Seal - Outer Belt - Rear Door - LH (Remove and Replace).
  3. Release the connector lock, and then disconnect the LH rear window regulator motor connector.
  4. Remove the manual latch release cable from the window regulator panel.
  5. Release the connector lock, disconnect the electrical harness from the LH rear door pressure sensor connector, and then remove the pressure sensor from the LH rear window motor/regulator assembly.
  6. Release the clips that attach the door harness to the closeout panel.
  7. Remove the bolts that attach the window regulator assembly to the door.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 8 mm socket
    • 2 in extension
  8. Remove the plugs that cover the regulator rail fasteners.
  9. Remove the bolts that attach the closeout panel assembly to the door, and then slide the assembly down and out to remove it from the door.
    8 Nm (5.9 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
    • 6 in extension

Install

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
