Torque Specifications

Bolts that attach the seat belt webbing guide to the B-pillar, and then remove the guide from the B-pillar
5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)
  • 8 mm socket
  • ¼ in std ratchet
  • ¼ in torque wrench (installation only)
Reuse

Remove

  1. Open the LH doors and lower the LH windows.
  2. Remove the LH instrument panel end cap. See End Cap - Instrument Panel - LH (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the LH middle A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Middle - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the LH lower A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Release the lower portion of the LH front door seal from the body.
  6. Release the LH front seat harness and guide from body.
  7. Move front seats fully forward.
  8. Release the LH upper B-pillar trim and move it aside.
  9. Release the 2nd row seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  10. Partially remove the lower portion of the LH rear door seal.
  11. Remove the LH lower C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
  12. Remove the LH lower B-pillar trim. See Trim - B-Pillar - Lower - LH (Non-Structural Pack) (Remove and Replace).
  13. Remove the bolts that attach the seat belt webbing guide to the B-pillar, and then remove the guide from the B-pillar.
    5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 8 mm socket
    • ¼ in std ratchet
    • ¼ in torque wrench (installation only)

Install

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
