Recliner Actuator - Seat Back - 2nd Row - RH (Remove and Replace)

Reuse

Remove

  1. Remove the RH 2nd row seatback. Seat Back - 2nd Row - RH (Remove and Replace)
  2. Raise the RH 2nd row seatback to the upright position, and place the assembly on a safe and stable work area.
  3. Remove the RH 2nd row inner B-cover. See B-Cover - Inner - 2nd Row - RH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the clip that attaches the inner pivot mechanism to the seat, and then pull the pivot mechanism away from the seat to remove it from the assembly.
  5. Release the actuator cable from the RH 2nd row seat frame clip, and then lift the cable up and away from the seat frame latch to release it from the seat frame.
  6. Disconnect the RH seat recline harness connector.
  7. Remove bolts that attach the actuator pan to the RH 2nd row seat frame.
    2.5 Nm (1.8 lbs-ft)

  8. Remove the screws that attach the LH 2nd row seat back recliner actuator from the actuator pan.
    2.5 Nm (1.8 lbs-ft)

Install

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
