Cover - Seat Back - 2nd Row - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace)

Remove
- Open the RH front and both rear doors.
- Lower the RH front and both rear windows.
- Move the RH 2nd row seat forward using the towel bar.
- Remove the RH 2nd row back panel. See Back Panel – 2nd Row Seat – RH (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the RH 2nd row seat should switch. See Shoulder Switch – Seat Back – 2nd Row – LH (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the RH 2nd row seat toe kick cover. See Cover - Toe Kick - 2nd Row Seat - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).

Remove the clips (x2) and elastic
harness holder that attach the seat harness to the bottom side of the seat frame, and
then disconnect the 2nd row seat connector.
- Remove the RH 2nd row headrest. See Headrest - 2nd Row - Outer - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the RH 2nd row headrest adjustment guide and guide lock. See:

Release the clips (x4) that attach the
RH 2nd row seat back assembly to the vehicle, and then lift the seat back upward to
remove it from the vehicle.

Place the RH 2nd row seat back
assembly on a suitable working surface.

Disconnect the seat heating
connector.

Release the tabs (x16) that attach the
RH 2nd row seat back cover to the seat back assembly.

Remove the back rest shell from the RH
2nd row seat back cover.
NoteEarly production vehicles may have staples holding the material to the shell in some areas.

Release the hook and loop attachment
around the perimeter, cut and discard the hog rings (x3), and then remove the RH 2nd row
seat back cover from the foam.
NoteClean any remaining debris from the assembly.
Install

Position the RH 2nd row seat back
cover onto the foam, and then install the hog rings (x3) and secure the hook and loop
around the perimeter.
NoteSmall cable ties may be used as a substitute for the hog rings. If cable ties are used, trim the excess cable flush, and then rotate the head away from the visible areas.

Position the seat back shell into the RH 2nd row seat back cover, and then secure the
tabs (x16) that attach the cover to the seat back shell.
NoteMake sure the cover is evenly distributed on the front of the back rest.

Connect the seat heating connector.

Position the RH 2nd row seat back cover into the vehicle, and then install the seat
back assembly into the seat assembly.

Connect the 2nd row seat harness connector, and then secure the clips (x2) and
elastic harness holder that attach the seat harness to the bottom side of the seat
frame.
- Install the RH 2nd row seat toe kick cover. See Cover - Toe Kick - 2nd Row Seat - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
- Install the RH 2nd row seat should switch. See Shoulder Switch – Seat Back – 2nd Row – LH (Remove and Replace).
- Install the RH 2nd row back panel. See Back Panel – 2nd Row Seat – RH (Remove and Replace).
- Move the RH 2nd row seat back to the vertical position.
- Move the front passenger seat to the original position.
- Raise the RH front and rear windows.
- Close the RH front and rear doors
