Antenna - GPS/GNSS (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the lower quad camera cover. See Quad Camera Cover - Lower (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the rear view mirror. See Mirror - Rear View (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the upper quad camera cover. See Quad Camera Cover - Upper (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the triple camera hood. See Hood - Triple Camera (Remove and Replace).
  5. Release the forward facing camera. See Camera - Triple - Forward Facing (Remove and Replace).

    Note
    It is not necessary to disconnect the harness from the camera assembly.
  6. Remove the screw that attaches the GPS/GNSS antenna to the bracket, slide the antenna to the LH side to release the tabs (x2) from the bracket, and then remove the antenna from the vehicle.
    1 Nm (.7 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T10 bit

Install

  1. Slide the antenna to the RH side to secure the tabs (x2), and then install the screw that attaches the GPS/GNSS antenna to the bracket.
    1 Nm (.7 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T10 bit
  2. Install the forward facing camera. See Camera - Triple - Forward Facing (Remove and Replace).
  3. Install the triple camera hood. See Hood - Triple Camera (Remove and Replace).
  4. Install the upper quad camera cover. See Quad Camera Cover - Upper (Remove and Replace).
  5. Install the rear view mirror. See Mirror - Rear View (Remove and Replace).
  6. Install the lower quad camera cover. See Quad Camera Cover - Lower (Remove and Replace).
  7. Adjust the forward facing camera. See Camera - Forward Facing (Pitch Verification).
