1. Open all four doors
2. Lower all four windows
3. Open liftgate
4. Remove LH IP end cap
   Note

   3x clips

   

5. Remove LH mid A-pillar assembly
   Note

   1x clip, 1x tab, Release the upper clip then pull mid A-pillar upward to remove

   

6. Remove LH upper A-pillar trim
   Note

   3x clips, Pull inside of the upper portion of upper A-pillar, Depress 2x tabs to remove tether from body side, Then pull upper A-pillar upward to remove

   

   

   

   

7. Remove clip securing LH lower A-pillar trim
   Note

   1x push clip

   

8. Remove LH lower A-pillar trim
   Note

   6x clips, 2 guide tabs, Pull rear of lower A-pillar upward to release clip then pull rearward to release trim panel

   

9. Remove LH sun visor bracket cover
   Note

   4x clips, Extending the sun visor may allow for extra working room

   

10. Remove LH sun visor fastener
    Note

    1x screw, T25, 3.5 Nm, Extending the sun visor may allow for extra working room

    

11. Remove LH sun visor from headliner area
    Note

    Fold sun visor to the closed and folded down position but do not latch in place

    

12. Disconnect LH sun visor connector
    Note

    1x connector

    

13. Move LH front seat forward
14. Remove RH IP end cap
    Note

    3x clips

    

15. Remove RH mid A-pillar assembly
    Note

    1x clip, 1x tab, Release the upper clip then pull mid A-pillar upward to remove

    

16. Remove RH upper A-pillar trim
    Note

    3x clips, Pull inside of the upper portion of upper A-pillar, Remove 3x tether hooks by twisting and pulling away from housing, Then pull upper A-pillar upward to remove

    

    

    

    

17. Remove RH sun visor bracket cover
    Note

    4x clips, Extending the sun visor may allow for extra working room

    

18. Remove RH sun visor fastener
    Note

    1x screw, T25, 3.5 Nm, Extending the sun visor may allow for extra working room

    

19. Remove RH sun visor from headliner area
    Note

    Fold sun visor to the closed and folded down position but do not latch in place

    

20. Disconnect RH sun visor connector
    Note

    1x connector

    

21. Move RH front seat forward
22. Remove 2nd row seat cushion
    Note

    1x connector, Lift front edge of seat cushion upward to release foam from frame

    

    

    

23. Partially remove LH rear door seal

    

24. Remove LH rear sill trim
    Note

    5x clips, Rear edge is mated with groove in trunk side trim, Release clips at the front of LH rear sill trim working your way back towards rear of sill trim, Trim part may slightly differ, by vehicle build location

    

    

25. Push open LH coat hook

    

    

26. Open LH coat hook screw cover
    Note

    1x locking tab

    

27. Remove LH coat hook screw
    Note

    1x screw, T20, 1.0 Nm

    

28. Release LH upper B-pillar assembly and move aside
    Note

    4x clips, Pull the bottom of the upper B-pillar toward inside of the vehicle then pull the top to release the remaining clips

    

29. Remove rear load floor

    

30. Remove front load floor

    

31. Remove trunk sill trim
    Note

    4x clips

    

32. Remove LH load floor bracket
    Note

    3x tabs, 2x clips

    

    

33. Remove LH trunk pocket bracket
    Note

    1x push clip, 5x alignment tabs

    

34. Release top edge of LH trunk side trim and disconnect 12V outlet and trunk switch connectors
    Note

    6x clips, 2x connectors, Trim part may slightly differ, by vehicle build location

    

    

35. Release remaining clips and remove LH trunk side trim
    Note

    1x push clip, 5x clips, Guide front clip stanchions around LH C-pillar

    

    

36. Remove LH upper C-pillar trim
    Note

    6x clips, Guide front upper corner groove out from headliner and place trim aside

    

37. Partially remove RH rear door seal
    Note

    Pillar and sill trim have tabs seated underneath seal

    

38. Remove RH rear sill trim
    Note

    5x clips, Rear edge is mated with groove in trunk side trim, Release clips at the front of RH rear sill trim working your way back towards rear of sill trim

    

    

39. Push open RH coat hook

    

    

40. Open RH coat hook screw cover
    Note

    1x locking tab

    

    

41. Remove RH coat hook screw
    Note

    1x screw, T20, 1.0 Nm

    

42. Release clips securing the RH upper B-pillar assembly and move aside
    Note

    4x clips, Pull the bottom of the upper B-pillar toward inside of the car, then pull the top to release the remaining clips

    

    

43. Remove RH load floor bracket
    Note

    3x tabs, 2x clips

    

    

44. Remove RH trunk pocket bracket
    Note

    1x push clip, 5x alignment tabs

    

45. Release clips and remove RH trunk side trim
    Note

    1x push clip, 11x clips, Guide front clip stanchions around RH C-pillar

    

    

    

46. Remove RH upper C-pillar trim
    Note

    6x clips, Guide front upper corner groove out from headliner and place trim aside

    

    

    

47. Disconnect headliner harness
    Note

    1x connector

    

48. Remove headliner harness clips from LH A-pillar area
    Note

    6x clips

    

    

49. Release headliner from body
    Note

    11x clips, Recommend assistance, Headliner will be partially supported by safety tethers at B-pillars and 2x tether clips at rear corners

    

    

50. Disconnect LH rear map light and release from rear portion of headliner
    Note

    1x connector, 1x harness clip

    

51. Disconnect RH rear map light and release from rear portion of headliner
    Note

    1x connector, 1x harness clip

    

52. Remove fasteners joining front and rear headliner trim
    Note

    10x screws, T20, 1.0 Nm

    

    

53. Remove front headliner from vehicle
    Note

    Recommend assistance, Remove through front door, Place headliner on clean surface

    

54. Release LH rear headliner tether from roof clip
    Note

    1x screw, T20, 1.5 Nm

    

55. Release RH rear headliner tether from roof clip
    Note

    1x screw, T20, 1.5 Nm

    

56. Remove rear headliner from vehicle
    Note

    2x tether clips, Recommend assistance, Remove through rear door, Place headliner on clean surface

    

57. Remove LH coat hook tether clip from body
    Note

    1x clip

    

58. Remove RH coat hook tether clip from body
    Note

    1x clip

    

59. Separate new headliner into front and rear
    Note

    10x screws, T20, 1.0 Nm

    Tip: The headliner shipping bag might be useful as a "third hand" for installation.

    1. Lay the shipping bag flat with the opening toward you.
    2. Use scissors to cut both the top and bottom sides of the bag up the middle, until there is about 12 in (30 cm) left. The bag will look like a pair of pants.
    3. Open the vehicle front/rear (as appropriate) doors, set the bag on the vehicle roof, and then bring the "legs" of the bag through each doorway into the cabin.
    4. Tie the very ends of the legs together to make a very loose loop out of the cabin, over the roof, and back into the cabin. If the loop is too tight, cut a little more up the middle.
    5. Use the loop to support the headliner during installation. If the loop is too loose, tie an additional knot to reduce slack.

    

    

60. Place rear headliner into vehicle

61. Place front headliner into vehicle
    Note

    Recommend assistance, Install through front door

    

62. Install fasteners joining front and rear headliner trim
    Note

    10x screws, T20, 1.0 Nm, Recommend assistance

    

    

63. Connect RH rear map light and secure to rear portion of headliner
    Note

    1x connector, 1x harness clip

    

64. Connect LH rear map light and secure to rear portion of headliner
    Note

    1x connector, 1x harness clip

    

65. Install headliner to body
    Note

    11x clips, Recommend assistance, Seat 2x clips at coat hooks when replacing headliner, Reseat primary seal at doors and liftgate to headliner

    

    

66. Install headliner harness clips to A-pillar area
    Note

    6x clips

    

    

67. Connect headliner harness
    Note

    1x connector

    

68. Install LH upper C-pillar trim
    Note

    6x clips, Guide front upper corner groove under headliner, Insert guide tab to headliner behind quarter glass, Seat trunk seal to edge of trim

    

    

    

    

69. Position LH trunk side trim and install lower clips
    Note

    1x push clips, 5x clips, Guide front clip stanchions around LH C-pillar

    

    

70. Connect 12V outlet and trunk switch connector and seat top edge of LH trunk side trim
    Note

    6x clips, 2x connectors

    

    

71. Install LH trunk pocket bracket
    Note

    1x push clip, 5x alignment tabs

    

72. Install LH load floor bracket
    Note

    3x tabs, 2x clips

    

    

73. Install RH upper C-pillar trim
    Note

    6x clips, Guide front upper corner groove under headliner, Insert guide tab to headliner behind quarterglass, Seat trunk seal to edge of trim

    

    

    

    

74. Install RH trunk side trim
    Note

    1x push clip, 11x clips, Guide front clip stanchions around RH C-pillar

    

    

    

75. Install RH trunk pocket bracket
    Note

    1x push clip, 5x alignment tabs

    

76. Install RH load floor bracket
    Note

    3x tabs, 2x clips

    

    

77. Install trunk sill trim
    Note

    4x clips, Seat seal around edge of trim

    

    

    

78. Install front load floor

    

79. Install rear load floor

    

80. Install the LH upper B-pillar assembly
    Note

    4x clips, Lower the seat belt slider to align it with the B-pillar panel, Insert top portion of upper B-pillar under the headliner to align the clips, Press the bottom to fully seat upper B-pillar to lower B-pillar, Make sure the seal correctly overlaps the trim

    

    

    

81. Install LH rear sill trim
    Note

    5x clips, Rear edge is mated with groove in trunk side trim, Install rear edge of LH rear sill trim into trunk side trim and work your way forward securing clips, Trim part may slightly differ, by vehicle build location

    

    

82. Reseat LH rear door seal
    Note

    Seat pillar and sill trim tabs underneath seal

    

83. Install the RH upper B-pillar assembly
    Note

    4x clips, Lower the seat belt slider to align it with the B-pillar panel, Insert top portion of upper B-pillar under the headliner to align the clips, Press the bottom to fully seat upper B-pillar to lower B-pillar, Make sure the seal correctly overlaps the trim

    

    

    

84. Install RH rear sill trim
    Note

    5x clips, Rear edge is mated with groove in trunk side trim, Install rear edge of RH rear sill trim into trunk side trim and work your way forward securing clips

    

    

85. Reseat RH rear door seal
    Note

    Seat pillar and sill trim tabs underneath seal

    

86. Install 2nd row seat cushion
    Note

    1x connector, Slide rear cushion rearward then align foam with seat rail, Make sure cushion is fully seated with push & pull test

    

    

    

87. Close liftgate
88. Move RH front seat to original position
89. Connect RH sun visor connector
    Note

    1x connector

    

90. Install RH sun visor into headliner area
    Note

    Fold sun visor to the closed and folded down position but do not latch in place

    

91. Install RH sun visor fastener
    Note

    1x screw, T25, 3.5 Nm

    

92. Install RH sun visor bracket cover
    Note

    4x clips

    

93. Install RH upper A-pillar trim
    Note

    3x clips, 1x tether, Slide bottom of trim along IP and speaker grill, attach tether to body side, Set clips starting at the bottom and work up, Pull seal over trim

    

    

    

    

94. Install RH mid A-pillar assembly
    Note

    1x clip, 1x tab, Align the bottom tab then push the top clip to fully seat mid A-pillar, Make sure the seal seat on top of the trim

    

95. Install RH IP end cap
    Note

    3x clips

    

96. Move LH front seat to original position
97. Connect LH sunvisor connector
    Note

    1x connector

    

98. Install LH sun visor into headliner area
    Note

    Fold sun visor to the closed and folded down position but do not latch in place

    

99. Install LH sun visor fastener
    Note

    1x screw, T25, 3.5 Nm

    

100. Install LH sun visor bracket cover
     Note

     4x clips

     

101. Install LH upper A-pillar trim
     Note

     3x clips, 1x tether, Slide bottom of trim along IP and speaker grill, attach tether to body side, Set clips starting at the bottom and work up, Pull seal over trim

     

     

     

     

102. Install LH lower A-pillar trim
     Note

     6x clips, 2 locating pins, Align front locating pin first

     

103. Install clip securing LH lower A-pillar trim
     Note

     1x push clip

     

104. Install LH mid A-pillar assembly
     Note

     1x clip, 1x tab, Align the bottom tab then push the top clip to fully seat mid A-pillar, Pull seal over trim

     

105. Install LH IP end cap
     Note

     3x clips

     

106. Connect to vehicle using Toolbox 3.0
107. Select ‘Actions/Autodiag’ and search for ‘Service_Redeploy’
108. 109. Remove HSD or RJ45 cable from Ethernet port to disconnect Toolbox 3.0 from vehicle
110. Once firmware redeploy is complete, Verify on center display release notes are present
     Note

     If the redeploy fails you may receive an error message on UI
111. Raise all four windows
112. Close all four doors
     Note

     If 12V is powered up, Unlatch rear doors before closing
